WTSDA Region 4 provides an opportunity for Black Belts to earn or renew Judging Certification based upon the guidelines set forth by the World Tang Soo Do Association.   Most of the certification occurs at our annual Summer Black Belt Camp.  However, if there is a need, Judging Certification can be scheduled at one of the Certified Studios.  The requirements for each level has been revised.  For your reference and to confirm your qualification, here is a link to the Requirements document.

 

Cho Dans (1st Degrees) through Sam Dans (3rd Degrees) need to bring their Judge Experience log.  Only sanctioned events qualify for experience and original signatures from the event coordinators are required.  If you need a copy, here is a link to the Judging Experience Log.

 

There is a written test which is based on the 2016 rule book. It is 100 multiple choice questions, and all certification levels must score 85% or better.  A Judging Practicum is also conducted and scored.

 

The cost for certification is $15 which may be paid by cash or check made out to: Region 4 Membership Fund.

 

If anyone is inactive/moved or has certified in a different region, the Region 4 Judging Coordinator needs to be notified.
